You Make Me Happy - {Denver, CO Engagement Photographer}

I am seriously giddy about this couple right here.

That lovely woman is my dear cousin and that handsome gent is the man who stole her heart.  They are so happy, they are so in love.

Jessie and Josh are all things outdoorsy and are the most comfortable under the natural light of the open air.  We were blessed to have the perfect morning for their pictures.  The sky was overcast, but perfectly clear.  Pikes Peak played in the background for these images and I LOVE them.  Almost as much as I love this twosome.

It is so much fun to photograph real authentic love.  Both of them were only too quick to kiss, snuggle and love on each other.  It is such a blessing to see and to photograph.

After mornings like this one, I feel a little lighter and a little brighter.  Love really is a beautiful thing.

Jessie's ring is perfectly simple.  It really is perfectly her.  Josh knows her so well.

As it got chilly, I just had them get closer.  Neither of them minded and their smiles got bigger.  A lifetime of happy times awaits these guys.

Jessie and Josh, I am so glad that I get to photograph this special time for you guys.  You are beautiful people inside and out.  The Lord has special things in store for you.  Keep these pictures close and always hug each other happy. Love you both.

Two Lovebirds Sitting in a Tree - {Littleton, CO Engagement Photographer}

My snowy photo shoot the other day ended with a wonderful quick engagement shoot.  I really had so much fun and this couple was only too willing to do and go wherever they needed to get a great shot.  Like this tree.......

The park was quiet and peaceful, blanketed in fresh snow.

It was chilly and the snow just kept coming down in sheets, but their love kept them nice and cozy.

This couple met in China and came over to the US for a Christmas visit.  I couldn't believe how perfectly wonderful the snow was for them.  Different and just a special way to capture a special time.  Evelyn loves trees and just couldn't get enough of our wintery shrubs.

They danced....

and snuggled....

and found themselves up in the most lovely of trees.  It was absolutely fun to follow them around snapping away.

What a delight capturing you two lovebirds.  I pray blessings on you both as you enter this exciting new chapter in your love story.  Love well and always climb trees in the snow!

Smiles Always Warm Up the Cold - {Denver, CO Family Photographer}

Okay, I'm gonna say it, this photo shoot was really hands down one of my favorites.  I just LOVE that this family was willing to brave the snow and cold to capture some lasting memories.

This family literally stretches across the world and got to be together for the holidays.  They all love each other big time and it was really fun to play.  Even the kids were fantastic and even had some smile for me amidst their cold fingers, toes and noses.

This couple is newly engaged and I got an extra special treat getting to do a shoot within a shoot.  Their engagement shoot will have its own little blog here.  You can see it, they are so in love.  Its beautiful.

And this lovely twosome.  They are so full of life and so joyful.  Their smiles just warmed up the cold.

How can you not absolutely love these cute little boys.  What troopers!

Thanks guys for braving the cold.  I just love the photos, and I really hope you guys made some memories!

Sleep Still Wee One, You are Safe- {Fort Collins, CO Newborn Photographer}

Last week I had the lovely privilege of photographing this special family.  There is something so amazing about getting to capture a new little life, and even more amazing to add in a firefighter Daddy.

This little lady absolutely loves her Daddy and slept so soundly wrapped up in his safe arms.  As I watched them I was so blessed.

I was also able to try out my new bucket prop with Miss K and she did perfectly.

This little girl is so loved by her parents.  It is such a beautiful thing to witness and photograph.  I am blessed by these families that let me into their lives for a day and allow me to capture moments like this....

and this.....

and this....

I truly leave sessions like this a little lighter and a little more hopeful than when I came in.

This precious little lady was so calm and peaceful and I know its because she felt so safe and so at home.

Towards the end of our session, Miss K's Daddy pulled out an old flag and I found myself full of inspiration.  I love these images below.  There is something truly powerful about them.

Thank you G family for allowing me to capture this sweet chapter of your life.  Thank you for being a safe haven for your little one.  Thank you for serving others.  We are all safer because of you.
