Normally when I am hired for a newborn photo shoot, it is well after the little one has been born and is nice and settled at home. A sweet college friend of mine gave me the unbelievable privilege of taking in hospital photos and I could not have been more blessed.
This is Miss R and she is just over 18 hours old here.
I always have such a fun time watching Dad's connect to their little girls. Jared was so in love with this little lady. You could tell he was thoroughly enjoying carrying his daughter around to give Mom a break.
Aris is an absolutely stunning Momma and such a bright and peaceful woman. You never would have guessed she had had a baby only hours before. She is so joyful and so in love with her second baby.
Miss A came while I was there and it was so fun to watch (and capture) the first moments of meeting her baby sister. She was a little unsure at first and kept her distance.
It only took the opportunity to hold her little sis and Miss A gave me the biggest smile. Just melts your heart. These girls are so beautiful and I hope will be such great friends.
One of Momma's best friends stopped by to snuggle Miss R and I couldn't help but take a couple of pictures. I think it is such a blessing to witness the connection of "the village." This family is well loved and the girls have many honorary Aunts!
There truly is nothing more hopeful and life giving than holding a newborn baby. They are so peaceful and so trusting.
Miss R slept so sweetly in the arms of her Big sister's gift. I hope this picture will be a special one. She is no bigger than this bunny now, and hopefully this toy will be a staple in her life as she grows. Its special.
This last picture is one that I absolutely LOVE. Babies are amazing little creatures. They fit so neatly and tightly in their Mommas and even once they are earthside remnants of the tight squeeze remain around for a while. Miss R's little feet tell the tale. They make me smile.
Congratulations G family on adding another lovely lady to your bunch. You are blessed and have in turn blessed me much!
