A Bright Sunshiney Day! - {Arizona Family Photographer in Denver, CO}

I cannot believe how amazing the weather was in Colorado.  I remember booking all of my photo sessions and thinking, "Boy, its probably going to be freezing with snow on the ground when I come!"  Such was not the case and this family's session is the proof!

It was absolutely wonderful to reconnect with Julie.  I know her from our MOPS days and I cannot believe how big her kids are!  This sweet little Miss E first graced my camera as a newborn.  Now look at her!  What beautiful girls!

This kid below is amazing.  Absolutely.  He is such a sweet soul and yet so boy.  I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. L.

B Family, THANK YOU for spending the morning with me and for making the time to fit me into your schedule.  I adore your family and am so blessed to have had the chance to capture this time!

A Party of 4- {Arizona Family Photographer in Denver, CO}

I just adore this family.  It has been a while since we actually saw each other in person, and I was so thrilled that this latest trip to CO could bring us back together!  They have added one more to their party since the last time I saw them and I was only too happy to meet the new addition.

Although CO should be covered in a layer of snow right now, I couldn't complain how wonderful the weather was and was only too happy to not have feet of snow to traipse through.

Mr. J is AMAZING.  He is so talkative and so smart.  My camera loves him so much and my my has he grown up from the we little baby I photographed so many years ago.  Such a handsome and sweet young man.

I always love catching candid moments and simply adore the one below.  You can tell that Mom and Dad delight in making their little boys smile and I loved just clicking away while they played.

Mr. R was such a trooper and even though he was so busy and desperately wanted to explore without a camera in his face, he was such an excellent picture taker.  He looks just like his brother.  Such a handsome little guy.

Colorado never disappoints and this time was no exception.  Thank you Wood Family for coming to see me!

Bringing Back the Oldies- {Arizona Photographer}

I was not born with the auto gene, and how my car works is somewhat of a moot point.  I just want it to work!  That said, I have always been AMAZED at how people can build cars from the ground up and have them work.  Rod and Dawn, the owners of RAD AUTO have recently taken it upon themselves to rebuild not only 1 but 2 incredible vehicles.  Both the Chevy and the Trans Am have been recreated beautifully and are truly a sight to behold.

I am somewhat partial to the Chevy because my Dad owned one a long time ago.  The color is crisp burgundy and all of the accents fit the truck perfectly.

The Trans Am is one word......cool.  From the sleek lines to the amazing hood artwork to the perfectly tuned engine, this one has got that very cool factor going for it.

I had a blast photographing these rebuilds and love that there are very talented and detailed people who love to do these kind of projects!

RAD Auto is the place!

Are You With Me? {Phoenix, AZ Wedding Photography}

I was asked to play a role in this handsome young man's proposal a couple weekends ago.  Oh how happy it made me when he called because that gorgeous woman is my cousin and I could not be happier for her and for their sweet family.

The story here is a beautiful one.

We got Chelsea out to this gorgeous spot on the river under the guise that she was helping me with a high fashion photo shoot I needed to practice for.  Chelsea and I help each other all the time with photography needs and she is my number one go to for anything photo related.

Manny had given me a song to have ready on my phone so after a few random shots I told them I needed some candid images and asked if they would dance.

I turned the song on my phone to "help set the mood."  I will never forget Chelsea, "Hey, I love that song!"

We know.

Manny held her and they danced......

and danced.......

He twirled her around and then got on one knee.

The ring was just perfect.

She kissed him tenderly.......

and she said yes.  A million times, YES!

The greatest adventure you can go on is the adventure of loving someone and risking it all to share a life with another.

It is amazing to see how the Lord has brought Manny into Chelsea and MJ's life.  They are a beautiful family and the adventure has only just begun!
