The Art of Family- {Denver, CO Family Photographer

There is nothing more beautiful than the rich colors of a well tended garden.  The colors and natural artistry are the perfect backdrop.

What a fun afternoon I spent with this awesome family, capturing their dynamics, their affection.  It was special.  All of these siblings had such a great relationship and while I am sure they do not always get along, they showed that sweet side for me.

I love to meet families that love each other and are willing to do just about anything I suggest.  Sometimes the greatest pictures are captured that way.

The two that lead this crew are so in love......

And can still make each other smile in the biggest ways.  That is a special thing to see.

You guys rock!  Always have this much fun together!

A Handsome Little Man- {Fort Collins, CO Child, Family Photographer}

Its been 6 months since last I saw this little boy.  My has he grown and look at how handsome he is!  Mr. J is such a happy little boy and part of the sweetest family.  It is such a treat to see them again and I am so blessed by them.

We spent much of the morning over on the CSU campus.  The sunshine, leaves and surroundings were just perfect.  I could not have asked for a better spot.  Mr. J simply loves his Momma.  Some of the greatest pictures came while she was just playing with him.  Such a sweet relationship.

Its hard to believe that this little guy will be one in less than 6 months.  Truly where does the time go?

W Family, again, I had a blast spending time with your family.  Mr. J is such a sweet little boy and he sure does make a cute little Ram!

A Rockin' Awesome Family- {Denver, CO Family Photographer}

Okay, okay enough of the rock puns!  I just can't help it!  This family is just awesome and so much fun.

I love it when families come back to me year after year.  It is so great to see how they have all grown and changed.

The boys in this family are SO. FUN.  Mr. T is all about playing, being rowdy and gettin' dirty, while Mr. J wants to go places and explore.  What great kids.  I really had a blast capturing them.
It really is special to meet such incredible parents too.  Both of these guys love the family they call theirs, even if it has its fair share of "controlled chaos."  So much love is shared between these two.  You can feel it.

G Family, once again I had a BLAST photographing you on the rocks.  You guys are fun, there are no two ways about it!

My Lover My Friend- {Denver, CO Wedding Photographer}

This Summer I had the great privilege of attending the wedding of this lovely couple as a second shooter for my dear friend and mentor Tara of Red Thread Images.  I was so honored to be a part of the day and get to capture a few of the photos.  I love weddings.

These two have a really neat love story.  They both have had their fair share of heart break, but have found each other and could not be more in love.  Just a few minutes spent in their presence and you can see that they not only love each other on a soul level, but are just the best of friends.

I love the picture above.  It was a moment caught right after he saw her for the first time.  How tender and special.  Truly beautiful.

  A beautiful bride, a dashing groom and plenty of sunshine to spare. A special day indeed.

May you live happily ever after!

Standing on the Rock- {Littleton, CO Newborn Photographer}

What a blessing it was capturing this couple's new little baby the other day.  I have known this Momma for most of her life and it was so unbelievably precious to be a part of her little expanding family.
These two are so in love with each other and so in love with the new little one in their lives.  It is truly a sight to see.  Young love, doing life, loving each other and building their family.

Little Miss S was so enamored with the world around her and with this new person that was constantly in her face taking pictures.  She just didn't want to sleep.  I love a sleeping baby, but catching those beautiful eyes discovering this new place called earth is also a treasure.

I love when Mommas have special items or gifts given to them during their pregnancies.  This little knit blanket was one of those items.  Emily was so uncertain about using it because it had blues and browns in it.  I think this little lady looks simply too precious wrapped up in such a loving gift.

As our time neared a close, Miss S was wide awake again, taking in the world around her and enjoying this new social life.  And seriously, how awesome is that big purple flower on her little head?  Adorable!

This last picture really is special.  There is such symbolism in it and I love how it turned out.  This sweet couple has a deep heart for the Lord (the proud Daddy is a Pastor).  In spending time with them I could see how committed they are to raising children who hunger for Christ.  This little picture was so perfect.  If the feet are the roots of the body, be sure they are planted in the Word.

Blessings on you N family.  You have been blessed.
