Sleeping Peacefully - {Phoenix, AZ Newborn Photographer}

There really is nothing more peaceful and satisfying than a sleeping baby.  Every time that I do a newborn photo shoot its always a toss up as to whether or not my wee little subject will be a peaceful sleeper.

This little boy was the absolute epitome of it.  I had such a wonderful time photographing him while he slept.  

Mr. J here has got the coolest big brother ever.  Mr. B is rambunctious and loud and all things a little boy should be.  He was so sweet though to take a quick moment and spread some love to his new little bro.  These two are going to have some fun together.  No doubt.

I have had the privilege of getting to know Kim through MOPS and if there is one word to describe her it is peaceful.  She is exquisitely lovely and has such a peaceful presence about her.  Her boys are so blessed to have her.

Mr. J was such a great sleeper that I was even able to get him in his handmade little man sweater and booties.  His Grandma lovingly made them for him and I just smiled taking these pictures.  Goodness could he get any cuter?

One added benefit of seeing these wee ones right after they come up earthside is that I usually get to meet Grandma's, Grandpa's and many other family members.  This beautiful woman made Mr. J his outfit and simply loves this new little grandbaby in her life.

Thank you for sleeping so peacefully Mr. J. Rest up Buddy, cause you have a lot of playing to do!

Just Over the Bridge - {Phoenix, AZ Family Photographer}

There is a really neat park in Littleton, CO that has several bridges.  There is a small train that runs the border of the park and a river babbles through the middle.  I love photographing families there.  This family brought life to the bridges and I had so much fun capturing them.

Mr. O was seriously the cutest kid.  So interested in everything and only too happy to go and do whatever was needed of him.  His little tongue loved to be out an about exploring anything it could find.

Its always a treat when I find a usable railroad track.  I love how the track stretches into the distance.  A metaphor for family and legacy.  The weather, sky and winter trees added just the right touches.

I asked Momma and Mr. O to pose for a picture and while I was getting my lighting all worked out I managed to capture this sweet moment.  

I really love bridges.  At the end of our session I couldn't help but capture a couple with these two.  Sometimes it is really fun to stop and be a twosome again.  There is a lot of love here.  It was fun to photograph.

Its Almost Time - {Phoenix, AZ Maternity Photographer)

I love that time right before a baby is born.  It is really so beautiful.  I have met so many amazing women who simply look radiant pregnant and this Momma was no different.

This fun family is about to add a little one into the mix and I had such a great time getting to know them and capturing their excitement and joy.  It really is fun when families bring their dogs to their photo shoots. This guy was awesome.  You could tell he was as excited to be there as the other two!

We found this cool tree right in the middle of the park and it had a branch just low enough to make the perfect photo op.  I can't help but smiling about it.  It makes me think of those lovebirds we all know about.  That baby carriage is awaiting.

This awesome couple brought the neatest little props to their photo shoot.  I really had the most fun incorporating them into their shots.

There is so much love between these two people.  You can tell instantly that they were absolutely made for one another.  They will be lovely parents when the time comes....I have no doubt.

Right at the end of our shoot, the sun was just right to cast the perfect shadow.  I love this image of Daddy's hands shadowed on his baby.  Beautiful.

Spring Brings the Flowers - {Phoenix, AZ Family Photographer}

I just love all things Springtime!  The new grass, the buds starting to bloom, the sun. AHHH its wonderful.  I was so blessed to capture this family a couple weeks ago and I couldn't help but notice how full of life this family was.

The women in this family are true flowers and they were lovely to photograph.  Little Miss A was too precious and such a bright and sweet little girl.

I love watching families and children in action.  There is something so lovely about seeing the love between them.  It truly makes my heart happy and gives me such joy.  Miss A was so curious and had such delight about the little things in nature.  

I am so blessed by the people that I meet and so honored to capture their moments.
