Remember that Old Barn?- {Denver, CO Family Photographer}

Okay, okay, perhaps it is because they have 2 little girls that are clones of each other just like mine, but I just adore this wee sweet family.  I have had so much pleasure watching Emily (who I used to babysit) grow into this amazing woman and mother.  Her life is truly blessed and seriously.....could their kids be any cuter?

I about fell over in smiles when Miss S got suited up in her chaps and cowgirl hat.  She LOVED my camera and was only too happy to strike a pose.

Miss B was absolutely perfect and such a cute little camera model.  Her baby blues just sparkled against the cool snow and the colors of her shirt just popped.  Perfection.

Even in the cold, these little ladies were awesome.  I must say it again, I adore this family.

This location is a special one too as it once belonged to Josh's family.  He has many nostalgic memories here and it only made me too happy to capture his family around his old stomping grounds.

N Family, thank you for sharing this awesome place with me.  May you have many more memories in your own special places.  Hugs.

Life is a Beautiful Thing- {Denver, CO Family Photographer}

Photography has been such a wonderful expression for me and a way to truly tell a story.  I decided to hone my photography skills because of an experience in my own life.  One of my dear friends passed away very suddenly and when it came time for the funeral we couldn't compile 1 picture of us together.

We had spent years of time and life together without ever stopping to take a picture.  Now all of the memories are just simply that.  And as beautiful as they are....they are fading.

Life is a precious gift, it truly is and I believe that pictures are the jewels of a story well told.  Pictures are tickets back in time.  They are special, no matter where you are and no matter what your story is.

I am so honored to have been the one to capture these special images because 2 months ago, they almost didn't happen.   Life nearly slipped away for this very special man.  These pictures are special because he is here AND he is going home soon.  It is a time of celebration.

You can tell this man is loved by a great many souls and his legacy is big and bold and beautiful.  The children in his life and the grandchildren are simply a star on a life well lived.

Sue and John, your family is special, your love is special and life truly is so very worth the living.  Thanks for including me in this very special photo session.

Two Boys are Better than One - {Arizona Newborn Photographer}

Welcome to the world little Boy!  We are so very happy that you are here!

I had the wonderful opportunity to snuggle this little boy while I was in Colorado.  It was wonderful and I enjoyed every second.  It truly is a special thing to have been a part of their announcement and then to see him out in the flesh.

This little man spent the entire session desperately wanting to have a conversation with me and I was only able to get a couple sleepy images.  It was perfect because he is at an amazing time where being awake is really so much more exciting than being asleep.

I simply love this image. Jenni is such an incredible mother and loves these boys so dearly.

Mr. O was a little uncertain about holding his new brother, but we got him a Rescue Robot to tuck right next to him and it gave him the courage to help capture these awesome brother images.  Oh the trouble they will get into.

Jenni and Eric, Congragulations.  Your family is so precious and I am so very thrilled that I was able to capture these images for you.  Hugs and much love!

All Together in One Place- {Phoenix, AZ Family Photographer}

I have had the amazing opportunity to get to know this family a little bit this year.  The Mother of this group is a multi time IRONMAN and someone that I aspire to emulate.  I was more than thrilled when she asked me to do a session with her family.  What a fun group of people.

Downtown Mesa Arts Center was the back drop for our pics and we had such a great time.  These rolling chairs provide the greatest pics.  I have used them on more than one occasion!

This picture below is one of my absolute favorites from the session.  I love the pairings and adore how each couple fell into a natural pose.

There really is nothing better than taking pictures of people who are simply happy to be where they are.

Thanks V Family for sharing a dreary afternoon with me.  Your family is a special one and wish you guys all the love in the world.
