The Summer of CO: The T Family {AZ Photographer in Denver, CO}

Time marches on.  It truly does and without sounding melodramatic, I am acutely aware of time these days.  This beautiful woman was my best friend in 5th grade.......5th grade!  That seems like forever ago!

I simply love how the Lord has orchestrated so much of my photography to reconnect me with past friends.  Since 5th grade, we have only seen each other a handful of time and yet we are still friends.  She is a beautiful soul.

Plus, her son is ADORABLE.

This kid was enthralled with the river and the rushing water.  He seriously could not get enough of it and I had a blast capturing his facial expressions as he ran back and forth across the bridge.  Children truly show joy in such authentic ways.

Even though the rain threatened to derail our session, I was ever so grateful to connect with these 3.  Nicole is one of those individuals that inspires me.  Her story is big and beautiful and humbling.  She is a fighter and a winner and one heck of a mother.

I am blessed to call her friend.

The Summer of CO: Mountain Professionals {AZ Photographer in Denver, CO}

I have learned that when you come across a business and a group of people that you really love you tell people about it.  The Conifer Dental Group is truly a cut above the rest.  I am so honored to be able to not only take their office photos, but be a strong referral for them.

Now, I will admit that this session was somewhat bitter sweet.  My lovely mother has worked with this group of professionals for over 30+ years and at the end of this month will say goodbye to move out here to AZ.  I am so very happy for us, and simply sad for the CDG.

My Momma is one of those top quality hygienists and while new chapters are always fun and exciting, closing old ones can be hard.

Thankfully, my Mom is leaving the CDG in the capable hands of these other fantastic hygienists and I believe without doubt that their quality of care will match the quality Conifer Dental is known for.

Thank you again CDG for once again showing your professionalism and generosity.  You are truly a cut above the rest!

The Summer of CO: A Great Big BEAUTIFUL Family {AZ Photographer in Denver, CO}

Oh how I LOVE big and beautiful families.  I am so grateful that I had the chance to photograph this group and am simply overwhelmed at the grace they extended me when traffic caused me to be very very late.

Life has a funny way of pulling us all in very different directions.  Sometimes it even takes us all around the country.  So those special times when you are all together is REALLY special.

I really enjoyed this family because I see myself in a few years.  The girls have such a sweet friendship and I can only hope that my girls will emulate it.

The organization of this sweet session was brought bout by the Momma of this bunch.  I have had the privilege of photographing them before and was only too happy to capture them again.

Our setting for the evening was the Highlands Ranch Mansion and the weather was just beautiful.  It was green and gorgeous.   After a few minutes with this crew I had them get into some rousing games of thumb wars and it was a treat when Mom and Dad took each other on.

Thank you guys for letting me be a part of this visit and for letting me capture your big and beautiful family.  Blessings.

The Summer of CO: Meg and Matt {AZ Photographer in Denver, CO}

I had such a wonderful time back in Colorado this past month.  I am so fortunate to be able to do what I love and travel.  It truly is the best of both worlds!

Meg and Matt are 2 of the most fantastic people.  I was so fortunate to be the photographer at their wedding and it is so much fun to see them now 2 years later.  They are still in love and still so much fun.

I love when couples will play together.  Half way through the session Matt fell on the ground in mock exhaustion and I couldn't help but smile when Meg got right down there with him and battled him in a game of thumb war.

Love is a beautiful thing.  Especially when you keep what matters most (having fun) at the forefront.

Yes,........she is gorgeous, stunning, breathtaking......always has been.  I couldn't help but snag some close ups for my portfolio and because I love taking pictures of beautiful people.

Meg and Matt, you two rock.  Thanks for playing and being silly.

......and in case you were wondering.......you CAN absolutely dance :)
